How to get in: Public Transport
There are various ways to go to Mt. Aso but the best way as well as nearest is from Kumamoto, just 1 hour far from Kumamoto Airport as you can see in below map.
There are only Express buses bounds for Kumamoto Sta.- Aso Sta. It runs on hourly in morning time. Take a local bus from Aso Sta. for Aso sightseeing. The total journey takes around 2 hours from Kumamoto Station in the lap of nature. More details about the bus stop Click
The Kumamoto Aso Line depart from Kumamoto Sta. and goes via Kumamoto Kotsu Center, Kumamoto Airport, Aso Sta.

Kusasenri & Aso Volcano Museum:
Experience the magnificent nature with horse riding. Also, there is a Aso Volcano Museum to watch the visual effects and trace the history and geographic conditions of Mount Aso.
It is known ad the city of hot-springs. There are around 80 hot-springs and the price starts from 300～ Yen. The local people love to go there to enjoy hot-spring and to have lunch with their hubbies.
